History
We are a family owned and operated farm located in Victoria, near Shepparton. We planted our first 2,000 trees in 1998 and an additional 2,000 in 2004. Located in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, Goulburn Valley Hazelnuts is one of Australia’s largest producing hazelnut properties with 20 acres of trees ranging in age from 17 to 23 years.
Harvest
We harvest anywhere from mid March to mid April depending on the year. The hazelnut falls to the ground when ready and are then windrowed and picked up by our mechanical harvester.
Our Store
We pride ourselves on quality and freshness therefore we only keep a small amount of stock on hand at all times, our hazelnuts are stored in shell for optimal freshness. Please allow up to 7 days for large/wholesale orders to be processed, plus delivery.
